Joshua Clottey has set his sights on a World title shot as he returns to the ring against Anthony Mundine in a junior middleweight bout slated for the Newcastle Entertainment Centre - Australia.

On April 9th, Clottey steps in the ring in what will be the 36 year olds biggest fight in four years. Joshua Clottey has fought just twice after his loss to Manny Pacquiao in 2010.

Clottey (37-4, 22 KO) has consistently expressed his desire to fight the best in the division and has promised a crack of fierce and rugged Mundine on Wednesday.

"Australia is such a beautiful place full of welcoming people; I hope I'm still welcome after I crush their champion. Mundine is fighting a prime beast, not a washed up guy like Mosley. I will crack him. I have no respect for anybody's power. I have never been hurt in the boxing ring, ever", the boxer was quoted as saying in an interview with badlefthook.com.

"On April 9, I will meet Anthony Mundine in the ring. On April 10 I will be asking my promoter to arrange a world title fight for me", he added.
